Submission Guidelines

General Submission Requirements

Before submitting your manuscript, please review the following criteria:

*The manuscript must be original content (no plagiarism).

*AI-generated content is not accepted.

*Manuscripts containing illegal or explicit content (such as hate speech, extreme violence, or unapproved copyrighted material) will be rejected.

*Your manuscript must be complete and free of major grammatical or formatting errors.

*You must own full rights to publish and distribute the content.

Formatting Guidelines

To ensure your manuscript is print-ready, follow these specifications:

Interior File (Manuscript)

File format: PDF (Single-page, portrait layout)Image resolution: 300 PPI minimum (600 PPI max for high quality)All fonts must be embedded. Pages must match the intended book size (Include bleed dimensions of 0.125 in).Margins:0.50 in Safety Margin for all content0.20 in Gutter Margin for inner edges of all pages. Do NOT include trim, bleed, or margin lines in your file. Do NOT use security/password protection.

Cover File

File format: PDF (single-page integrated spread)Include back cover, spine, and front cover in one file. Image resolution: 300 PPI minimum (600 PPI max)Ensure text and important elements are within the Safety Margin (0.5 in). Do NOT include trim, bleed, or margin lines.

Pricing & Book Format Selection

Once your manuscript is approved, you will set the final price and choose whether your book will be: Physical Print, Digital (eBook) or both Print & Digital. Your book will not be available for purchase until you complete this step from your Author Dashboard - you will receive your login credentials once you are approved.

Review & Approval Process

Once submitted, manuscripts undergo a manual review process (within 7 business days).Approved submissions will automatically be added to the Luxe Pen Publishing House bookstore and Stripe for seamless purchasing. If rejected, you will receive an email outlining the reason(s), if feasible. If your manuscript is rejected, you will have the opportunity to resubmit your manuscript in 48 hours.

Reasons for Rejection

*Plagiarism or copyright infringement

*AI-generated content

*Illegal or explicit material

*Formatting errors that prevent proper printing

*Low-quality images (below 300 PPI)

*Failure to meet the submission guidelines

Next Steps

Submit your manuscript by clicking the Submit Your Manuscript button below. Wait for approval (you will receive an email update). Upon approval, log in to your Author Dashboard to set pricing and format. Once finalized, your book will go live on the Luxe Pen Publishing House bookstore!
